A Fall Pie Social

Hey friends,

I’m hosting my #BigSocial,  A Fall Pie Social with Aimée of Simple Bites & Friends, because I want to raise funds to fight food insecurity. I also want to connect around food, and October is pie month!

For my third Big Social, event I am throwing an old fashioned pie social on Saturday, October 2nd. Come, bring a pie or just to eat pie for a good cause.

In return, will you please make a donation to my Big Social today? Suggested donation is $25 or more and gets you a ticket to my pie social!

*Stay tuned for a HRM address of exact location. Adults only.*

Being part of the Big Social connects us both to a national movement to fight food insecurity.

Our support is needed now more than ever: food insecurity now affects 1 in 7 Canadians.

When people can’t afford good food, the problems stack up. Poor nutrition, isolation, and declining physical and mental health take a huge toll on people's lives.

Please donate to my Big Social today to help make sure all Canadians have access to good food. Your donation will support Community Food Centres Canada and 13 partner Community Food Centres across Canada to:

  • Provide good food in low income communities
  • Virtual nutrition + cooking programs for kids and adults
  • Support community members to take take action on the issues that affect their lives

Let’s connect and cook up something incredible this October. Your participation in my Big Social event helps people in low-income communities across Canada access healthy food with dignity and funds programs that promote food skills, connection and advocacy.

Share Food. Change Lives.
