Make, Drink, and Share!

We are joining the #BigSocial this year to raise funds to fight food insecurity and connect around food and community! All of us at Harmony Community Food Centre in East York, are commited to supporting our local community through high impact food programs.

Everyone who joins our campaign and makes a donation will receive a brand new recipe booklet of our favourite collected drink recipes shared by our community. This season, we invite you to MAKE, DRINK, and SHARE with us and your loved ones.

The first $2,500 donated in support of Harmony CFC will be generously matched by Meridian Credit Union. Help us reach our goal!

All donors will receive:

  • MAKE, DRINK, SHARE e-recipe booklet

Donors of $50 and over will receive:

  • MAKE, DRINK, SHARE e-recipe booklet
  • PRINTED copy of the recipe booklet
  • Entered in a raffle for a chance to win 1 of 3 prize packs
  • Prize packs include: Homemade goodies from Harmony CFC, all-natural healing balm, granola, preserves, local honey from Taylor Creek Honey, apron, stationary from Gotamago, garden consultation/Cedar Tea Kit from Candace's Catering/The Long Table Cookbook by Amy Symington

In 2020 Harmony Community Food Centre:

  • Officially launched as a partner CFC site of Community Food Centres Canada
  • Served and sent home 46,784 meals to our neighbours and participants
  • Offered free virtual food education and cooking skills programs to families, youth, and seniors
  • Opened its first seasonal outdoor affordable produce market
  • Provided emergency pandemic supports to vulnerable folks (grocery deliveries, meal deliveries, grocery gift cards, and vaccination clinics)

Let’s connect and cook up something incredible this October. Your participation in our Big Social campaign helps people in low-income communities across the city access healthy food with dignity and funds programs that promote food skills, connection and advocacy.
